In 2026, for the first time, you’ll now be able to apply for more than one role at the same festival.

That means you can secure a stewarding place early and still try for a campaigning or shop role later on.

How it Works

Here’s how the new process will work step by step:

  • 3rd February 2026 – Stewarding applications open. Apply for a stewarding role at your chosen festival as usual.
  • 4th February 2026 – Campaigning & shop volunteer roles open. You can then apply for a campaigning or shop volunteer role at the same festival, even if you already have a stewarding place.

If you’re successful in getting a shop or campaigning role:

  • Your stewarding place will be automatically cancelled
  • Your stewarding deposit will be fully refunded if you only have active shop roles

If you’re not successful:

  • You’ll keep your stewarding place

No. This update only applies to multiple roles at the same festival. You can’t hold or apply for roles at two festivals that happen on the same dates.
