Applying to Volunteer at a Festival Shop

Festival shop volunteering is open to current Oxfam shop volunteers, interns, or members of staff with at least three months of experience. Or anyone who has volunteered at two or more festivals with Oxfam Festival Shops in the past three years.

To sign up, follow these steps:

1. Create or log in to your account.
2. Choose your festival. When sign-ups open, select the festival(s) you want to volunteer at and follow the on-screen steps.
3. Provide your manager’s email address within the reference section of your profile. Please remind your manager to provide a reference as soon as possible so we can complete your application.

Applications close 14th March so apply early.

Once we have received confirmation from your manager, we will process your application. If you have not volunteered with us before or have only volunteered with us at only one event in the past, we will get in touch to arrange a short telephone interview to find out about your shop volunteering experience.

We will interview applicants with a satisfactory reference before the deadline and confirm places via email. Please ensure you have put down the correct details for your manager and let them know we will be contacting them.

At some festivals we are able to bring a bigger team of volunteers to help with the shop whilst others are very small. We recommend applying to as many as you are available for as we may have more applications than available places.

Glastonbury

Due to how busy and complicated the multiple shops are that we run at Glastonbury, we will prioritise applications from volunteers who have previous experience with the Festival Shop. If you want to try one of the other festivals or events, we have shops at first, you will be super ready for 9 days at Glastonbury!
