Festivals Volunteer Agreement
When you volunteer for Oxfam you are helping to support the organisation’s work to tackle poverty and reduce inequality all over the world. Volunteering at a festival or event is different from volunteering in a high street Oxfam shop or holding a fundraising event, and can be demanding in unexpected ways.
When you apply to volunteer you agree to the terms in the document below; make sure you read this document so that you understand what to expect and what’s expected of you.
In addition to the terms set out in our Volunteer Agreement, if you sign up to volunteer as a steward at Glastonbury on 1st May 2024, you are participating in our Shindig 2-for-1 volunteering offer. This means that your Glastonbury 2024 is contingent on you successfully volunteering at Shindig 2024. If you cancel your Shindig place or otherwise do not complete your Shindig volunteering, we will also cancel your Glastonbury place.
