About the Volunteer Role

Stewarding

As a Beautiful Days steward, you’ll be part of the team that keeps the festival running smoothly and safely. From welcoming and directing people around the festival, to supporting festivalgoers on the accessibility platforms, you’ll play a vital role in creating a great experience for everyone.

It’s a varied, hands-on role that’s perfect if you enjoy being helpful, meeting people, and being at the heart of the festival.

Shifts: 3 x 8¼-hour shifts.

Impact: For every stewarding shift you work, the festival pays Oxfam for your time. That means every hour you give, is raising money to support communities around the world who are fighting against poverty.

About Beautiful Days

Founded and headlined by The Levellers, Beautiful Days is fiercely independent and proudly true to the counter-culture roots of the UK festival scene.

As well as several stages including a seated Theatre Tent, the festival has site art installations, a huge children’s area, healing village, walkabout theatre, family camping, real ale bars, folk sessions, and a vast selection of carefully chosen food & craft stalls.

In addition to hosts The Levellers, 2025's edition saw Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls and Sex Pistols (featuring Frank Carter) take to the main stage as headliners.

Whether you're in the campsite or on shift, there are plenty of opportunities to meet fellow volunteers and make new friends to explore the festival with.

Beautiful Days is a great place to bring your kids, with a family-friendly vibe and oodles of free fun all weekend - including circus, co-op games, music workshops, crafts, and face-painting, plus a safe play area for under-5s.

If you want to bring a child to Beautiful Days, you need to follow our kids procedure - find out more information here.

Note that every under-18 you bring needs their own ticket, which you must buy through the The Levellers’ website. If you're thinking of bringing children, please ensure you arrange their tickets early, as they often sell out!
