Why Volunteer at Blackweir Live?

When you volunteer at Blackweir, you’ll enjoy:

  • Being at the heart of the action at a small one day show.
  • The chance to be part of the friendly Oxfam festival crew, meet fellow volunteers and make lifelong friends.
  • The satisfaction of helping Oxfam's mission for a fairer world.

How it works

Volunteering at day festivals gives you the opportunity to work a day shift and have plenty of time to enjoy the headline act!

You can sign up to volunteer at as many day events as you like at Blackweir Live - you will just need to sign up to each one seperately.

Just like at our weekend festivals, you'll have access to free tea and coffee, crew-only toilets, and a food voucher to use at the festival.

Please note that there are no camping facilities available at our day festivals.

About the Stewarding Role

Your role at Blackweir will involve scanning tickets at the gate.

Please note that this is a standing role, so you’ll be on your feet for much of the shift, however you will be given a short break during the day to rest and recharge.

Impact: For every stewarding shift you work, the festival pays Oxfam for your time. That means every hour you give, is raising money to support communities around the world who are fighting against poverty.
