Accessibility Support from the Festival

All festivals we work with provide accessibility support for attendees, including Oxfam volunteers. This support typically includes:

  • Accessible camping areas
  • Viewing platforms at venues
  • Accessible toilet facilities
  • PA (Personal Assistant) tickets if you need someone to support you

If you would like to request any of these facilities, you need to apply directly with the festival (except at a select number of shows). You can find out how to apply for these facilities on the festival's own website.

Please note that if you want to apply for these facilities at Glastonbury, you should email crew.accessibility@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk, not the email on their website (which is four festival-goers rather than crew).

Latitude, Wilderness, Reading, Leeds, Crystal Palace and Gunnersbury

If you're volunteering with Oxfam at any of the above festivals and would like to request use of accessible facilities i.e. accessible toilets and viewing platforms, please complete the form below.

You may have already provided this information to the festival directly but this year they’ve asked us to collect the information in addition to this. If you've already sent this to the festival via their access team, you need to also complete the form below. If you've not already sent the information to the festival directly, then you can just complete the form below.

Please note: To apply for a space in the accessible campsite, you will still need to contact the festival's Access Team directly.

Nimbus

Like Oxfam, many festival organisers now use the NIMBUS Access Card as part of the application process.

In particular, please be aware that Glastonbury require you to have a NIMBUS Card to access these services and request that you don't apply for their services until you have one.

Letting us know

If the festival agrees to offer you space in their accessible campsite or the use of accessible toilets, it’s important you let us know about it in the “My Festivals” area of your profile.

This allows us to make appropriate arrangements, for example by ensuring your shifts are close to the accessible campsite if necessary, or by ensuring we have an accessible toilet in our campsite.
