About the Volunteer Roles

You’ll spend your days chatting with festivalgoers, sharing the stories behind Oxfam’s latest campaigns, and inspiring people to take simple but powerful actions - like signing a petition - that can make a global difference.

It’s a brilliant role if you love talking to people, being out and about, and want to be part of something meaningful while soaking up the festival atmosphere.

Shifts: 4 x 6-hour daytime shifts ending before the headline acts.

Impact: Campaigning at festivals helps us raise awareness of key global issues, brings in new supporters for Oxfam, and helps us put names and voices behind the campaigns we take to governments.

As a shop volunteer you'll help run our Oxfam festival shops, staffing the tills, restocking, and engaging with festivalgoers.

Our festival shop roles open to current shop volunteers, interns, or members of staff with at least three months of experience.

Shifts: One 6-hour shift a day, rotating between morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Impact: Our festival shops raise thousands of pounds for Oxfam each summer as well as saving massive amounts of clothing and accessories from landfill. By stocking items tailored to the festival audience, we also show festivalgoers that they can look and feel good without harming the planet.
